Access and Inclusion

Oxfordshire Community Rail Partnership (OxCRP) is strongly focussed on improving access to opportunities in Oxfordshire, particularly for underrepresented groups and those who have traditionally had less access to the benefits of the railway network. We work with many partners to develop rail-based solutions that address short-term needs and enable longer-term change.

Our first projects in this area are detailed below, and we'll be adding more over time, so check back in regularly. If you have ideas for working with us on projects that enhance access to or from the railway network, or allow underrepresented groups to access new opportunities by taking the train, drop us a line or fill out our contact form to get in touch with us.

Travel Survey

Understanding the barriers to travel is a key way of improving people's access to opportunities by rail. We've been undertaking survey work with residents to help us build up a detailed picture.

02

Getaway

We've been working with partners to give over 100 young people experience of using trains to reach exciting and character building opportunities in the countryside.
